Kitchen Transformation

It’s hard to show all the work done with pictures, but that was a lot for the time span. Below are the pictures going by date. Special thanks to Grandpa Chuck, Grandma Hope, Marilyn, John, Mandy, and Paul for the work they did. This wouldn’t have gotten done in such a sort time frame.


Kitchen after wall comes out and sheet rock is done 11/07/11.

Taping and spraying is finished. After sanding the ladies start to paint. They are doing the upstairs at the same time. 11/18/11

Last of old kitchen removed. This required plumbing, electrical, and some tear down. We finishing prepping the subfloor and sorting the boxes of wood. Evening of 11/19/11

Morning of 11/20/11 we start laying the floor. Rosin is laid for underlayment, first row is set, then we go crazy with the flooring nailer.

BTW, the flooring choice is natural hickory. When you cut it and get it hot it kind of smells like cooking BBQ. We will finish the last bit of floor after Thanksgiving and then cabinets!!!
